(Chinatown in Busan)

This morning was bittersweet. On one hand, I had a good last night out, and there were two more vacation days left. But on the other, we were leaving Japan today.

We forced ourselves up early this morning as we wanted to explore the Hakata Bayside before boarding our ferry. On the way to the port, it felt like I was saying goodbye to everything around me.

Busan and Fukuoka Trip - DAY #5 "Hot Springs"

(a hot springs resort)

It was my last full day in Japan, and the last would be the most memorable. We woke up bright and early to go to an onsen (hot spring resort). We were tired as heck from last night, but you can't sleep in when you're on vacation!

As a westerner, I can tell you that the experience of Japanese hot springs was both a good one and shocking one. lol.
